ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring person who is suitably qualified to support the Director and care for children. Applicants need to hold a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent recognised qualification.

Approximately: 2 days a week during term time (BSC & ASC) and 5-6 hours x 5 days during Vacation Care.

OSHC DIRECTOR
BANKSIA PARK SCHOOL R-7 OSHC
DIRECTOR LEVEL 6.1
30 hrs per week

Start date: Mon 27th Feb (or as soon as possible)

Banksia Park School R-7 is seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated, and committed Director to manage our OSHC and Vac Care programs. The Director is responsible for all aspects of OSHC including pedagogical leadership, delivery of quality care and children's programs, staff management, communication with families, financial management and administration duties. Knowledge of Spike and CCMS software desirable.

Min of 30 hrs per week during term time and vacation care.

Out of School Hours Care Casual Staff

The YMCA of SA is the State's leading provider of Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care with services operating in metro and rural locations.

The YMCA of SA works from a base of Christian values to provide opportunities for all people to grow in Body, Mind and Spirit.

Currently casual Qualified and Casual CSE 2.1. employees are required for the following:

• Before School Care and After School Care at Whitefriars Parish School – Woodville Park
• Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care staff for a casual pool to be used at other sites as required.

Qualified personnel are required to hold the Diploma of Children's Services or other qualification recognised for OSHC in SA.

All staff must have:

• National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
• Current Child Safe Environment certificate
• Current Senior First Aid certificate
