Inclusive Directions: Specialised children's services organisation that advocates and works with families, children and communities of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds to enhance their participation in child care services. National Childcare Accreditation Council: NCAC is responsible for the implementation and administration of the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System (QIAS) for long day care centres, Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance (OSHCQA) for OSHC services and Family Day Care Quality Assurance (FDCQA) for family day care schemes. Governance ResourcesLinks of particular interest to community based services and other incorporated associations in the sector. Non-Profit Governance and Management Centre: provides support and resources to the boards and executive management in non-profit organisations. This website includes a number of excellent papers delivered at the Building Better Board Conference. Office of Consumer and Business Affairs: Most of the professional associations and community based children's services in SA are incorporated as associations under the Associations Incorporation Act 1975 which is administered by the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs. This website provides basic information for incorporated associations. Our Community website includes practical resources for community organisations as well as supporting linkages between community networks and the general public, business and government.

Family Court: The Family Court website includes information and resource sheets in plain English relating to family law. Privacy Act : information about privacy policy SafeWork SA: Formally called Workplace Services and published the ERIC (Employment Relations Information Centre) website, SafeWork SA is responsible for administering industrial relations legislation and managing all occupational health, safety and welfare functions in South Australia. This site includes copies of industrial awards (e.g. child care (SA), clerks (SA)) and rates of pay. It also has many useful and informative publications to download. The Office of the Employee Ombudsman: Assists all employees covered by State Agreements, Awards or who are Award free, with free advice and information on award wages, OHS&W, Enterprise Bargaining and other employment issues. The Office Consumer and Business Affairs: The Office of Consumer and Business Affairs (OCBA) provides accessible services and information to business and consumers. One aspect of their work involves providing information on incorporation and associations. If you are an incorporated organisation you would need to deal with the OCBA on an annual basis. The Community Business Bureau (CBB) Inc is a self funded, Non-profit organisation dedicated to helping the community sector through Training, support, consultancies and Research & Development. They offer a range of professional services exclusively for the non-profit sector including Salary Packaging, Board Training, MYOB support, Governance, Payroll and other Management Services.
