Posted by Network SA on Friday, March 09, 2018

How can you help to Close the Gap?

This is your opportunity to support better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Feedback is important. It helps to know what has been successful and what has been less successful. Be proactive and take the time to answer the questions and share your views or upload a submission on the future of Closing the Gap.

Hear these shared stories from Aboriginal people and support the campaign.
Closing the gap in health equality between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians is an agreed national priority.

10 Years On: Closing the Gap Refresh

With four of the existing Closing the Gap targets expiring in 2018, the Australian Government is working with the states and territories and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to refresh the Closing the Gap agenda.

Watch the Indigenous Advisory Council have a yarn about the Closing the Gap refresh and at your next staff meeting have professional dialogue on ways you can get involved.

It's time to critically reflect why three out of the seven targets have not yet succeeded in closing the health gap to date. Read more on the Closing the Gap Refresh and Close the Gap 10 years review.
