The Australian employment landscape has become confusing and daunting for Service Owners, Committees and Directors. It can be full of complex policies and changing legalities and it can be hard to understand and even harder to keep up to date with.
This program aims to give Directors an understanding of basic Contract practice. We also touch on the Australian Industrial relations landscape through a brief look at the Fair work act, Modern Awards and employment relationships between employer, employee and Unions.

About Graham Doody
Graham Doody is a Senior Management Consultant of Network SA Resource, Advisory & Management Services Inc. He is responsible for providing advice,
support, training and relevant referrals in relation to HR management, financial viability, corporate governance, business management skills, community
ownership and legal accountability issues.
Graham’s experience is drawn from a wide range of employment backgrounds in Federal and State government and private sector organisations in Australia and the UK including 6 years in Department of Education and Child Development. He also brings past experience as a parent representative on child care centre and school management boards.
Graham has tertiary qualifications in human resource management. He is a Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
